The Monday Painting Class. 10:30-13:30 class held on Zoom. A small group of about ten.

In these sessions we follow the journey of a painting.

There is a subject set for the term for everyone to explore independently, through drawing and painting, and then coming together to present the 'work in progress' at the weekly zoom session.

The subject gives a structure which allows individual interpretation and promotes discussion, exchange of ideas and constructive criticism.

In a sense these sessions are more like tutorials or seminars. They help to clarify direction and development.

They bring up all sorts of questions and thoughts about creativity, which are voiced. We learn so much from each other.

I use the opportunity to show the work of other artists, relative to the subject we are exploring.
